Artisan Quality & Natural Variations At Ferd & Bird, each piece of jewelry and metal art is individually handcrafted. Due to the handmade nature of our work and the use of natural gemstones, metals, and vintage coins, subtle variations in tone, texture, and finish are expected and celebrated as part of the piece’s unique character.
Return Window & Eligibility I want you to love your handcrafted piece. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we accept returns under the following conditions:
Return Window: Return requests must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.
Item Condition: Items must be unworn, unused, and in their original condition and packaging.
Non-Returnable Items The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
Custom-made, commissioned, or resized pieces
Gift cards
How to Initiate a Return
Email me at danielle@ferdandbird.com with your order number, the item name, and the reason for your return.
Once your return request is reviewed and approved, we will provide you with shipping instructions and the return mailing address.
Package your item securely (preferably in its original protective packaging) to prevent damage during transit.
Return Shipping & Fees
Customers are responsible for paying their own return shipping costs. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Because metalwork and jewelry can be damaged or lost in transit, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. Ferd & Bird is not responsible for items damaged or lost during return transit.
Refunds & Exchanges
Inspection: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval status of your refund.
Processing: Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Exchanges: We replace items only if they arrive defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for a different size or piece, please contact me at danielle@ferdandbird.com.
